Introduction

Our research covers a wide range of topics, but with a background in statistics and psychology, we have conducted foundational research in statistics, econometrics, and psychology, as well as applied research in various fields such as marketing, behavioral economics, neuroscience, medicine, and public health. For specific research achievements, please refer to the link to the personal page. So far, we have mainly focused on general statistical causal inference research as foundational research, but in the future, we would like to focus particularly on economic and social phenomena and work on developing analytical and evaluation methods that consider mechanisms more thoroughly. Current statistical models do not take into account the irrational tendencies of humans, who are the components of society, when explaining data related to economic and social phenomena, resulting in models with not very high predictive or explanatory power. I am conducting research aiming to develop new econometric models by incorporating insights from behavioral economics and psychology, as well as considering industrial organizational elements such as strategic interactions between decision-making players. Additionally, I would like to apply these results to various fields such as marketing, management studies, labor economics, and education economics.
