Kensuke Kubo is a researcher in the field of industrial organization and competition policy. He also has research experience in the areas of development economics and agricultural economics. Kensuke is interested in how economic policies such as competition policy and patent policy affect firm behavior and the overall economy. His professional experience includes two years as an examiner in the mergers and acquisitions division of the Japan Fair Trade Commission (the Japanese competition authority). He has also worked at a U.S. consulting firm supporting corporate clients in regulatory and litigation matters.
