[Research Introduction] With research experience on the first language acquisition of children in the generative framework, I am currently engaged in the linguistic analysis of Japanese Sign Language, the language that naturally emerged in the Deaf community in Japan. I strive to engage in activities to support sign language research of the Deaf, as well as deaf-hearing collaboration in various linguistic projects.
[Educational Policy] I emphasize the experience of 'thinking independently and effectively organizing and sharing information.' Since I often teach small classes, I try to devise approaches that accommodate the individual leering styles of the students.
