Introduction
- I am conducting research on the influence that traditional Japanese musical dramas—such as Noh and Kabuki—had on Paul Claudel, who, in the first half of the 20th century, sought to integrate various theatrical arts (drama, music, and dance) within the theater. I am also interested in the history of theatrical exchange between Japan and France surrounding Noh.
