「外交史は国際政治や歴史学の一分野で、国際交渉や条約締結を歴史的に分析します。日本外交史を専門に研究し、戦後の特に日中国交正常化と日中平和友好条約に焦点を当てています。さらに政治家福田赳夫や岸信介の評伝執筆もしています。」
“Diplomatic history is a field under the study of international politics and history. It analyzes international negotiations and treaty signing from a historical perspective. I specialize in the diplomatic history of Japan, focusing on postwar Japan’s diplomacy with China in particular and the Treaty of Peace and Friendship between Japan and the People’s Republic of China. I also write critical biographies about former prime ministers Takeo Fukuda and Nobusuke Kishi.”
