Chinese Gender History

「明末～清末の中国社会におけるジェンダーを研究中。科挙に参加できなかった女性たちの生活を描いた書籍の翻訳もしました。知識人家庭での女児の養育・教育に注目し、中国社会の特徴を新たな視点で探求しています。」
“I am conducting research on gender in late Ming to late Qing Chinese society. I also translated books that depicted the lives of women who were not allowed to take part in the Chinese civil service examination. I focus on the upbringing and education of girls in intellectual families to explore the characteristics of Chinese society from new perspectives.”
