The History of Art Exchange Between Japan and Spain

「美術史の領域においてスペインに着目。ピカソやミロなど代表的画家と、これまで注目されてこなかった日本とスペインの美術交流史を研究しています。国内外の研究者や美術館学芸員達と協力しながら展覧会という形で両国の影響関係を提示してきました。」
“Within the field of art history, my focus is on Spain. I study famous artists such as Picasso and Miró as well as the history of art exchange between Japan and Spain, an area that had not gathered attention in the past. With the help of researchers and art museum curators in and outside Japan, the relationship of influences between the two countries were presented in the form of exhibitions.”
