“After studying the history of Western political thought, focusing on French liberal thinker Benjamin Constant, I expanded the scope of my research beyond the West to look at comparative political thought, or comparative political theory, with scholars from around the world under an international research project. Recently, I have been considering the impact of technology on democracy.”
