Analyzing Texts as Cultural Artifacts

「ユートピアの概念に興味を持ったのは2011年の東日本大震災後、東北でボランティア活動をしたことがきっかけ。文学を社会を映し出す鏡と捉え、ユートピア文学は単なる空想ではないという観点からユートピア文学やSFを通じて、理想的な社会や、社会の変化と法律・政治の関係を探求しています。」
“I became interested in the concept of utopia due to working as a volunteer in the Tohoku region after the Great East Japan Earthquake of 2011. I see literature as a mirror that reflects society. Based on a perspective that utopian literature is not just imagination, I use utopian literature and science fiction to think about what an ideal society would look like and explore the relationship between social changes, laws, and politics.”
